 | | Throughout our lives, most of us take our vision for granted. Our world is very visual and there is much joy and pleasure in seeing. As we live longer, many people are experiencing serious vision changes and degenerative eye diseases. It can be ourselves, parents, children, relatives, friends, co-workers,
neighbors. It is usually very frightening and frustrating for both the person affected and the people who interact with them. There is a feeling of loss of independence. It can be very isolating and damaging to one's self esteem! We meet people at the various craft and hobby shows because they want a better light or magnifier to see the color or detail of their project. They are often surprised that our Total Spectrum lights have also benefitted many persons with macular degeneration and other visual problems. As a result, we have had numerous requests from our customers for the names of additional vision resources. The list below provides the names of some vision resource contacts. They can assist with information, vision devices or direct you to a group or organization in your local area. The list is
neither meant as an endorsement of the organization or company nor is it a complete list of all vision resources. The list is not in any special order. It reflects resources that we have encountered or about which we have heard. You may need to research the address, phone number or website of the group. We will update the vision resource list periodically. | | | Our goal is to find ways to bring back a sense of independence to people who have been affected by degenerative eye diseases! | |
